Schools

I have completed a lot of work within primary schools in Lisburn, Belfast, Ballynahinch, Banbridge, Lurgan, Richhill, Aghalee, Dromore and Rathfriland under the 'Healthy Happy Minds' programme that The Education Authority released in November 2021. This programme allowed numerous therapeutic interventions to be place within primary schools across Northern Ireland. From November 2021 to present, I have worked within 11 primary schools offering individual art therapy, group art therapy, whole class and small group art for wellbeing programmes.

Furthermore, due to pilot programme funded through the Public Health Agency in 7 different special school, I was requested by 3 special schools to facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions. Therefore, to present date, I have experience of working within 4 special schools within Northern Ireland.

Each school have their own budget, requirements and needs and therefore I would work closely with SENCOs or principals to discuss and plan what work is most feasible and appropriate for your school.
